Apple M6 NEW
Overview
The M6 is Apple's first chip built on a 2nm process and the new entry point of its Mac line, shipping first in the Mac mini. It has a 12-core GPU, two cores more than the M5, with a Neural Accelerator inside every core, plus a 12-core CPU and a new Dual 16-core Neural Engine. Memory tops out at 32 GB of unified memory with up to 170 GB/s of bandwidth, a 10 percent step over the M5. Apple rates the GPU at nearly 30 percent more peak AI compute than the M5 but publishes no FLOPS figure, so the FP32 rate shown here is worked out from the core count and clock.
