IREN, formerly Iris Energy, develops and operates purpose-built datacenters for AI and high performance computing, and sells GPU capacity through its AI Cloud on NVIDIA reference architecture. It reports around 5 GW of secured grid capacity across seven sites in Canada, the United States and Australia: 810 MW operational, 2,100 MW under construction and 1,600 MW in development. The largest are Sweetwater in Texas at 2,000 MW and Oklahoma at 1,600 MW, alongside three British Columbia sites at Mackenzie, Prince George and Canal Flats. The company states its estate runs on 100% renewable energy, sourced directly or through renewable energy credits.
