Intel Arc A580 8GB
Overview
The Arc A580 arrived a year after the rest of the Alchemist desktop family, in October 2023 at $179, as the cheapest way into a full 256-bit memory bus. It runs 24 of ACM-G10's Xe-cores and 384 XMX matrix engines at a 1,700 MHz graphics clock inside 185 W, and Intel rates it at 197 dense INT8 TOPS. What makes it interesting against its price class is memory rather than compute: 512 GB/s is more bandwidth than several cards costing considerably more, and bandwidth is what token generation is limited by once a model fits. The 8 GB frame buffer sets that ceiling low. Intel publishes no floating point rate for it, so this row carries INT8 only.

Every figure here is dense. The vendor documents no structured (2:4) sparsity mode for this part, so there is no second number to quote.
Per watt divides the dense figure by the 185 W board power. Where only a sparse figure exists, the cell says so.
