Overview
The MetaX (沐曦) 曦云C500X is the optically interconnected member of the 曦云 family, a custom-height PCIe board rather than a standard add-in card. It carries 64 GB of high bandwidth memory with end to end ECC protection and a maximum power of 350 W. Its distinguishing feature is a MetaXLink optical interconnect interface supporting scale-up topologies from 16 cards up to 64, which is how MetaX builds a 64 card supernode out of conventional PCIe servers and air-cooled racks instead of a liquid-cooled cabinet. MetaX publishes no throughput figure for this part.
