Overview
The MetaX (沐曦) 曦云C550 is the company's flagship OAM module GPU, built on its own GPU IP and conforming to both the OAM 1.5 and OAM 2.0 mezzanine standards. Each module carries 64 GB of high bandwidth memory with end to end ECC protection, and MetaXLink links eight modules all to all at up to 896 GB/s, which is what lets a single server behave as one eight card domain. Maximum power is 450 W. MetaX supports software partitioning down to one percent granularity for virtualised deployments, and the MXMACA software stack is positioned as compatible with the mainstream GPU ecosystem. MetaX describes the compute as strong multi-precision mixed performance but publishes no throughput figure for this or any other part in its range, so none is listed here.
