NVIDIA NEVER PUBLISHED A PRODUCT PAGE FOR THIS CARD. Its 16-series landing page points the "GeForce GTX 1660" entry at the GTX 1660 Ti URL, and there is no capture of a /gtx-1660/ page in any locale. The board specifications here therefore come from NVIDIA's live compare table, which is the only NVIDIA document that carries a full column for it, and the memory bandwidth comes from a single clause in NVIDIA's GTX 1660 SUPER launch article, which describes the SUPER as "a 75% improvement over the GeForce GTX 1660's 8 Gbps 192 GB/s GDDR5 VRAM". THE COMPUTE FIGURES ARE IDENTICAL TO THE GEFORCE GTX 1660 SUPER AND THAT IS CORRECT: same 1,408 CUDA cores, same 1,530 MHz base and 1,785 MHz boost. The two cards differ only in memory. NO TENSOR CORES AND NO RT CORES, as recorded on the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti row. FP32 IS DERIVED from the published core count and boost clock. REFUSED: transistor count, die size and L2 cache.

Overview

The GeForce GTX 1660 is the entry point of the 16 series and the cheapest Turing card in this database. It carries 1,408 CUDA cores at a 1,785 MHz boost for 5.03 TFLOPS FP32 and, because Turing runs half precision at twice the shader rate even without Tensor Cores, 10.05 TFLOPS FP16. Its 6 GB of GDDR5 runs at 8 Gbps on a 192-bit bus for 192 GB/s, which is the one place it is meaningfully behind the SUPER version of the same card: the two are arithmetically identical and the SUPER has 75 per cent more bandwidth. Like the rest of the 16 series it has no Tensor Cores and no RT Cores, so there is no INT8 path and no tensor-accelerated half precision, and 120 W with a single eight-pin connector is the whole power story.
