China only. Sold exclusively in the Chinese market under United States export rules; there is no international equivalent. Only FP32, FP64 and FP4 are recorded, for the same reason as the original RTX 5090 D: NVIDIA publishes one capped AI TOPS figure and the family ratios do not hold below it.

Overview

The GeForce RTX 5090 D V2 replaced the RTX 5090 D in China in August 2025. It keeps all 21,760 Blackwell CUDA cores and the same 2.41 GHz boost, so shader throughput is unchanged at 104.8 TFLOPS, but the memory subsystem is cut from 32 GB on a 512-bit bus to 24 GB on a 384-bit bus, taking bandwidth from 1,792 GB/s down to 1,344 GB/s. Tensor throughput carries the same 2,375 AI TOPS cap as the original D, which is 1,187.5 TFLOPS of dense FP4 against the international RTX 5090's 1,676. For anyone comparing rental supply in Asia, this is the important distinction: a card advertised as a 5090 in a Chinese datacenter may have three quarters of the memory and about seven tenths of the tensor throughput of the card the name implies.
