Unlike the W6800, this card has NO published FP64 figure. AMD prints a Peak Double Precision row on the W6800 page and omits it entirely here, so no double precision value is recorded, even though the silicon is the same RDNA 2 generation. RDNA 2 has no matrix cores, so the 20.8 TFLOPS FP16 is packed vector math. AMD also states Memory ECC Support No for this card, which is unusual for a workstation part. AMD's footer disclaimer GD-239 states that Radeon PRO W6000 series cards are not designed nor recommended for datacenter usage.

Overview

The Radeon PRO W6600 is the mid-range RDNA 2 workstation card, a 28 compute unit Navi 23 in a single-slot 130 W board that draws from one six-pin connector. It is the same die and core count as the consumer Radeon RX 6600, clocked higher to reach 10.4 TFLOPS FP32. Two details separate it from its bigger sibling the W6800 and are worth knowing before you buy on the strength of the family name: AMD publishes no double precision figure for it at all, and AMD explicitly states that its 8 GB of GDDR6 has no ECC. RDNA 2 has no matrix cores, so the 20.8 TFLOPS FP16 is packed vector throughput at twice FP32, and no BF16, FP8, INT8 or INT4 rate is published.

Higher and further left is better: more half-precision throughput for less power.
