This is the original triple-slot W7900. AMD later shipped a Dual Slot version with identical silicon and identical specifications in every respect except board width, which has its own row in this catalog because it is the one that fits four to a workstation. AMD publishes no boost clock and no memory clock for any Radeon PRO W7000 card.

Overview

The Radeon PRO W7900 is the top of AMD's RDNA 3 workstation line and, at 48 GB of ECC GDDR6 on a 384-bit bus at 864 GB/s, it was for two years the largest frame buffer you could buy from AMD outside the Instinct line. Its 96 compute units and 192 AI accelerators deliver 61.3 TFLOPS of FP32 vector and 123 TFLOPS of FP16 matrix, with 96 MB of Infinity Cache behind them, in a 295 W triple-slot card. RDNA 3 has no FP8 path and no structured sparsity, so 123 TFLOPS is the honest ceiling; the newer 32 GB Radeon AI PRO R9700 beats it by more than three times on matrix throughput while giving up a third of the capacity. AMD publishes no FP64 or BF16 rate for this card.

Every figure here is dense. The vendor documents no structured (2:4) sparsity mode for this part, so there is no second number to quote.

Higher and further left is better: more half-precision throughput for less power.
