AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE 16GB
Overview
The Radeon RX 7900 GRE started as a China-only Great Radeon Edition in July 2023 and later went global. It is a Navi 31 card with 80 compute units and 160 AI accelerators, running at up to 2245 MHz for 46 TFLOPS of FP32 vector and 92 TFLOPS of FP16 matrix. Memory is 16 GB of GDDR6 on a 256-bit bus at 576 GB/s, backed by 64 MB of Infinity Cache, inside a 260 W board. Like every RDNA 3 part it has no FP8 hardware and no structured sparsity, so its matrix rate is only double its vector rate rather than the four times an RDNA 4 card manages, and AMD publishes no FP64 or BF16 figure for it.

Peak theoretical throughput by precision type
| Precision | Peak |
|---|---|
FP64 | No verified data available |
FP32 32-bit floating point | 46TFLOPS |
TF32 | No verified data available |
BF16 | No verified data available |
FP16 16-bit floating point | 92TFLOPS |
FP8 | No verified data available |
FP6 | No verified data available |
FP4 | No verified data available |
INT8 8-bit integer | 92TOPS |
INT4 4-bit integer | 184TOPS |
Every figure here is dense. The vendor documents no structured (2:4) sparsity mode for this part, so there is no second number to quote.
Per watt divides the dense figure by the 260 W board power. Where only a sparse figure exists, the cell says so.
