Overview

The Radeon RX 6650 XT is the 2022 refresh of the RX 6600 XT on the same 32 compute unit Navi 23 die, with 17.5 Gbps memory in place of 16 Gbps and 180 W in place of 160 W. Peak FP32 moves from 10.6 to 10.79 TFLOPS and bandwidth from 256 to 280 GB/s. Eight gigabytes and a 128-bit bus put a hard ceiling on what it can hold, which is the main thing to weigh for local inference. RDNA 2 has no matrix cores: the 21.59 TFLOPS FP16 AMD quotes is packed vector throughput at twice FP32, and there is no BF16, FP8, INT8 or INT4 figure published for any part in the generation.
