AMD publishes no lithography, no die size and no FP64 or BF16 rate for any RDNA 4 part, so those fields are empty here rather than filled from a third party. The sparse column on this row is AMD's own 'with Structured Sparsity' figure, which is exactly twice the dense figure it sits next to; the dense number is the one this site sorts and compares on.

Overview

The Radeon RX 9070 XT is the flagship of AMD's RDNA 4 generation and the first Radeon card whose AI numbers are worth quoting next to a datacenter part. Its 64 compute units carry 128 second-generation AI accelerators that add native FP8 in both E5M2 and E4M3 encodings plus 2:1 structured sparsity, neither of which RDNA 3 had, which is why dense FP8 lands at 389 TFLOPS against 48.7 TFLOPS of FP32 vector, a ratio of eight rather than the two RDNA 3 managed. Memory is the constraint rather than compute: 16 GB of GDDR6 on a 256-bit bus at 640 GB/s is enough for most single-card inference work but not for a large model in full precision. Board power is 304 W through two 8-pin connectors on a PCIe 5.0 x16 interface. AMD publishes no FP64 or BF16 rate for this part, and this catalog does not invent one.
